Welcome all class members/friends!

UZEBBA GRAMMAR SCHOOL, UGS OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION, USA,

will be holding their annual fundraising on Saturday, July 31, 2004. The event will be held at 255 Brady Walk, Lawernceville, GA 30045. This annual affair is planned to be able to assist in funding vital activities and projects for the school.

Next year, 2005 UGS will be celebrating her 40th anniversary. In anticipation of the celebration of this milestone in Uzebba, this US chapter is looking to form a synergy for superior representation at the occasion. Hence we yearn for your attendance.

Through these similar events in the past, we have been able to provide funds for general building repairs, roof replacements, supplies and books for less priveleged students. Our commitment is to maintain and expand the support to include merit scholarships. Of immediate significance, we are focusing on a project that would befit the 40th anniversary; consequently we are proposing a multipurpose hall for the school. Our School does not have an assembly facility and in this day in history that is not good.

This annual event is a family affair characterized by feasting, dancing and socializing. Perhaps most significant is the meeting of our next generation, our children. (Beyond the event, Atlanta offers exciting attractions and family vacation).  Please plan to enjoy the city.

To the old students, UGS provided that solid educational foundation, and for Uzebbians the School placed the Uzebba community in the map. Come and join us for this year's re-union and fundraiser; it is a worthwhile cause.  RSVP.     Please call: Pius 678-377-1377: Joe 404-966-6786; Austin 404-966-6776.

Sincerely,

Pius Ileogben,
Executive secretary
